Good Tidings Community Service Scholarship 2025 – Fully Funded for California Students

The Good Tidings Community Service Scholarship celebrates high school seniors in California who demonstrate a commitment to community service and helping marginalized children. Offered by the Good Tidings Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, this scholarship empowers students who are making a positive impact while pursuing their educational dreams.

With a focus on athletics, arts, education, and creative growth, the foundation ensures that children from all backgrounds have opportunities to thrive, and the scholarship extends this mission by supporting students who serve their communities.

Scholarship Details

The scholarship provides a $10,000 award, distributed evenly over four years.

  • Number of recipients: 10 students

  • Funds can be applied toward tuition, books, and other educational expenses

  • Fully funded and designed to reward both service and financial need

Recipients are expected to volunteer at least one shift (2–4 hours) for the Good Tidings Winter Wonderland Toy Giveaway Program in Burlingame, CA, held from December 6–21.

Eligibility Requirements

University of the People – Master’s Scholarships (USA)

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a high school senior

  • Reside in one of the eligible California counties:
    Alameda, Contra Costa, Lake, Marin, Monterey, Napa, Sacramento, San Benito, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, or Yolo

  • Volunteer at least one shift for the Winter Wonderland Toy Giveaway Program

  • Submit a letter of recommendation with the application

Selection is based on community service commitment and financial need, rewarding students who make a tangible difference in the lives of children.
