Scholarship Overview
The Merit Recognition Scholarship is offered to a select group of National Merit Finalists who list Michigan State University as their first-choice institution.
Award Benefits:

$4,000 per year toward tuition.

Room and board in an MSU residence hall (double occupancy) with a Silver Meal Plan.

Renewable for up to eight semesters (four years).
Students with sophomore standing or higher, who have lived on campus for at least one year, may qualify for on-campus apartment housing with the same meal plan benefits.
Please note that off-campus housing is not included in this award.
